Aloe Vera Mojito in 5 minutes

I absolutely love drinks with a little texture in them. This aloe mojito has just the right amount of chewy little bits that keep you wanting another sip. The mint paired with the aloe beverage is oh so refreshing! I hope you enjoy it!

This recipe is for a large drink- so make sure you have a large glass or mason jar.

TIPS AND THINGS TO NOTE:

Pre Chilled Ingredients:

Chill your rum, lime and Aloe beverage in advance so your drink is at its optimal temperature. This drink is best served cold. Since I do not like adding too much ice to this (takes away from sweetness and aloe texture when ice is in the way) the step of having your ingredients already chilled helps a lot.

Alcohol Substitue:

This drink can totally be made without any alcohol. Simple replace the 2 oz of rum with 3 oz of Sprite or simply eliminate the rum and top with all aloe beverage.

Aloe Beverage:

Any brand of aloe beverage works. Make sure it includes chucks/pieces of aloe. This beverage can be purchased at most grocery stores now. Some places you should be able to get it is at Walmart, Freshco, most asian/oriental grocery stores and even online.
