This is a simple homemade honey garlic soy chicken wing recipe from my home kitchen to yours! I hope you enjoy it.
Honey Garlic Soy Wings
TIPS & THINGS TO NOTE:
Cooking honey:
After adding the honey to the sauce your want it to simmer until foamy. This helps the sauce coat the wings and gives it a nice lacquer like finish. If you are sceptical about heating the honey you can squeeze it on at the end once things cool.

Season the chicken wings with olive oil, sesame oil, mushroom flavour soy sauce, chicken broth powder, Chinese 5 spice and paprika.

Marinate for a few hours or overnight.

Air fry or bake at 400 degrees F until cooked through. The internal temperature of the wings should reach a minimum of 165 degrees F on a quick read thermometer – or the juices in the centre should run clear with no traces of pink juices or blood.

In a pan gently cook the minced garlic and ginger in butter for 1 minute.

Add the light soy sauce to the butter, ginger, and garlic mixture and allow to simmer for another minute.

Add in your honey and allow to simmer until the sauce become foamy (see notes).

Toss and enjoy!
